- Description of the thesis: the aim of this thesis is to develop rovings and yarns with controlled continuity and orientation from these carbon fibres, for use in the weaving/braiding stages of composites. Mechanical characterisation is carried out at various scales in order to control the properties of the semi-finished products produced.
