Description of the thesis:
The purpose of this work is to predict numerically the pressures exerted by the MCS over a leg, and to control the mechanical properties of the fabric according to the hemodynamics of the venous return.
The objectives of the work are:
1. Experimental identification of the mechanical properties of knitted fabrics used in MCS,
2. Development of a mechanical model of the fabric,
3. Development of numerical models of the behavior of the MCS over a leg.
