Club members visited ENSAIT – Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Arts et Industries Textiles and the GEMTEX laboratory, one of Europe’s largest scientific research centers dedicated to textile materials.

A pioneer in the development of sensors and electronic components integrated directly into textiles, GEMTEX transforms fabrics into smart, connected textiles.

Highlights of the 2-day event:
Three captivating conferences led by ENSAIT researchers:
🔹Smart textiles and their medical applications for physiological measurements,
🔹Development of filaments for 3D battery printing,
🔹New developments in Smart textiles standards (IPC).

A hands-on workshop also provided an opportunity to discover conductive yarn and reverse engineering, from yarn to heated product.
